Duties may include assisting staff and faculty with preparation for research, classroom instruction, departmental operational needs, or performing administrative and other support duties as required. University Student Assistant - Campus Parking Enforcement Officer - Spring 2019 Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The University Student Assistant Campus Parking Enforcement Officer is responsible for the enforcement of University Parking Rules and Regulations. Duties may include the issuing of parking citations to vehicles in violation of University Parking Rules and Regulations, unlocking of car doors and assist motorist upon request, and educating student and visitors to campus of the University Parking Rules and Regulations. Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions, may be assigned to day or evening shifts, serves as a liaison between the public and University departments, assist University Police Officers upon request, and maintains parking enforcement hardware and two way radio.

Graduate Teaching Assistant - Learning Services - SUMMER 2019 Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The duties of the Graduate Teaching Assistant, under the supervision of the faculty and/or staff, may include assisting faculty with various lab related tasks, performing classroom instruction, as well as other academic support duties, and departmental operational needs, and other associated and clerical duties as assigned. Teaching schedule will vary dependent upon lab schedule, lab prep, in class lab time, and post lab work. Positions will be filled based on individual applicant's skills, qualification and departmental needs. Graduate teaching assistants are expected to work 20 hours per week during a full summer term (May, June and July). In some compressed summer terms, workload may increase to twenty-six (26) hours per week under special circumstances. Graduate teaching assistants working during the full summer term will receive $4000 disbursed in three equal monthly payments. Department Head, Curriculum and Instruction Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Department Head is responsible for the general administration and supervision of the department. The Department Head is the academic leader of the programs, plans, and goals of the department. The Department Head serves as a liaison between the department, dean, university administration, and external entities. The Department Head reports to the respective Dean.
Temporary Groundskeeper/Laborer Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Temporary Groundskeeper Laborer performs lawn and grounds work of an unskilled nature that will vary with the season. Responsibilities involve physical labor that is conducted mostly out of doors in all weather conditions. Tasks may occasionally include those on a semi-skilled level. Duties will be assigned in detail by an immediate supervisor and are subject to frequent inspection.
Assistant Dean of Students - Student Life Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Assistant Dean of Students, Student Life is responsible for development, implementation, and facilitation of campus events initiatives to promote inclusivity between groups on campus, history and cultural programs, and special pipeline programs and education projects that enhances the cultural awareness of the JSU student body, and promotes academic enhancement efforts in support of the mission of the University. The assistant dean is responsible for advising the SGA and all branches of the SGA. This position is also responsible for campus programming and implementation of a variety of events throughout the year.
University Student Assistant- Assistant Residence Life Coordinator (Summer 2019) Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Assistant Residence Life Coordinator (ARLC) position is a 12 month live on student staff position with the Office of Residence Life. The ARLC reports directly to the Residence Life Coordinator (RLC) and is considered a member of the leadership team for his/her particular residential community.

Student Loan Coordinator Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Student Loan Coordinator will be responsible for processing all federal and private student loans, including Parent PLUS and Graduate PLUS loans within Banner. This position will work with federal databases to prevent and correct over-awards, resolve rejected loan and Pell Grant issues, and disbursement errors. This position will assist the Associate Director of Compliance with reconciliation of federal loans, as needed, including resolving errors. This position will also be responsible for transfer monitoring, default management, and loan exit counseling.
Residence Life Coordinator Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Residence Life Coordinator provides administration, supervision, educational programming, and management in a apartment setting. Responsible for the daily operations of an apartment complex. Provides mentoring and leadership to Residence Life staff and students. Creates an atmosphere conducive to learning and living, and accomplishes the goals of the institution, Student Affairs, and Housing Operations, Residence Life. This is a 12-month live-in position with summer duties required.
Education Program Associate Fort Payne (Little River Canyon Center)
The Education Program Associate is responsible for the development, implementation and administration of science-based environmental educational and conservation programs through the JSU Environmental Policy and Information Center and Field Schools. All activities are through primary coordination with Director and Assistant Director as well as through additional coordination with partners including agencies, schools, groups and individuals. Incumbent will use independent judgment and discretion in program development and departmental administration. Work is periodically reviewed for adherence to department/division goals and effectiveness of results. Reports to the Assistant Director of JSU Field Schools.
Drama Technical Director Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Drama Technical Director coordinates all scenic activities (scenery construction, painting, and props) for departmental productions, including supervision and operation of lighting and sound systems and provides technical assistance for related activities. This position supervises and instructs student workers, student theatre classes, and volunteer workers for departmental productions; maintains shop, lighting, and sound equipment; maintains inventory of required supplies, supervises students/crews in the production and running of departmental productions and ensures the physical space is maintained, and ensures safe, timely setup and smooth running of department productions.
Print & Production Specialist Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Print & Production Specialist provides technical and support services in the functions of printing, graphic design, and production operations, bindery, quality and final checks on end products, cost analysis of customer jobs, establishing and maintaining production schedules for University offices, student organizations, and other auxiliary service entities, and assisting with shipping and receiving of products and supplies.
Assistant Professor, Family and Consumer Science Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Assistant Professor, Family and Consumer Science is responsible for instructional work to facilitate student comprehension and application of concepts, skills, and behaviors that contribute to the development of mature, able and responsible members of society.
