Pay Range:

 

Up to $110,000.00, Commensurate with experience  


Normal Work Schedule:

8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday; Some evenings and weekends required


Essential Functions:

 • Assists with preparation of Annual Report of the School of Education and Five-Year Plan of the School, other reports, and data analyses to the Dean and Department heads as requested.
• Reviews catalog copy; prepares other publications such as the college newsletter.
• Assists with the state and national accreditation issues; serves as CAEP coordinator; reviews accreditation documents and assists in preparation for site accreditation visits.
• Assists with collation of data and preparation of reports for the School, University and accrediting/regulating agencies.
• Responsible for school of education-wide assessment planning and reporting.
• Assists in organization of student orientation and advisement.
• Collaborates with unit heads on student academic issues.
• Works with departments on scheduling of facilities.
• Serves as resource and assists in grant writing, research, and fund raising as designated by the dean.
• Works with the dean, department heads and directors on professional development issues.
• Assists the dean with community outreach efforts.
• Serves as the dean’s designee and liaison to other university offices, committees, and external agencies.
• Travels to professional meetings, committee activities, professional development activities, and other events.
• Performs other duties as assigned..


Required Minimum Qualifications:

 

• Earned doctorate from a regionally accredited institution in one of the disciplines offered by the school of education

• Five (5) years experience in higher education

•  Two (2) years experience in administration

•Evidence of successful college teaching and a commitment to facilitation of scholarly activities


Preferred Qualifications:

• Accreditation experience
