A Graduate Administrative Assistant (GAA) assists administrative staff with collecting, organizing, and analyzing various types of data or information, assist with special projects and other duties assigned by the unit’s supervisor and/or appropriate faculty and/or staff. Stipend: $12.00 per hour with a max of 20 hours per week for a total of three semesters. Student compensation is based on the number of hours worked, and students must clock in and clock out for each shift. Biweekly payroll over the course of the term. In addition to a stipend, graduate assistantships carry a scholarship of 9 semester hours of graduate tuition and the general university fee.

Intern - Internal Audit Jacksonville, AL (Main Campus)
The Office of Internal Audit is seeking an Intern(s). This person(s) will work with the Chief Internal Auditor to execute the Internal Audit Plan and related special projects. The person(s) will gain experience in the following: • Documenting processes, identifying risks and controls (or control gaps) via flow charting using Visio; • Designing audit testing programs based on the process documentation and our sampling methodology • Executing audit testing; • Documenting testing results, findings and developing internal control improvement recommendations; • Writing audit reports highlighting findings and recommendations to our business partners, the Board of Trustees (BOT), and President’s Cabinet (Cabinet); • Assisting with policy development (including, but not limited to, writing new policy, updating current policy, working with Subject Matter Experts and the University Executive Council (UEC) through the developmental and approval process); • Attending UEC, BOT and Cabinet meetings when necessary. Hours and focus of work are flexible depending on availability, skills and interest. A commitment of roughly up to 20 hours per week.
Residence Life Coordinator Jacksonville, AL (Main Campus)
The Residence Life Coordinator provides administration, supervision, educational programming, and management in a residence hall or apartment setting. Provides mentoring and leadership to Residence Life staff and students. Creates an atmosphere conducive to learning and living, and accomplishes the goals of the institution, Student Affairs, and Housing Operations, Residence Life. This is a 12-month live-in position with summer duties required.
Administrative Associate, Athletics Department Jacksonville, AL (Main Campus)
The Administrative Associate within the Athletic Dept. is responsible for all administrative and receptionist functions, and works collaboratively with the Administration and staff within the Athletic Department by supporting the services and programs provided.
