The Financial Aid Services Specialist assists in administering (reviewing, processing, and maintaining) current and potential student applications and records for participation in the University’s loans and federally funded financial aid program(s).
Visiting Assistant Professor, Art Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Department of Art at Jacksonville State University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor to begin August 16, 2019. This is a one-year (non-tenure track) position that will include the Fall and Spring semesters of the 2019/2020 academic year. The successful candidate will teach four undergraduate courses per semester in Printmaking and Foundations (Drawing and Design) and should have a strong background in Intaglio and relief printmaking with a demonstrated record of collaborations and exhibitions. The successful candidate will also be expected to interact and collaborate with the faculty members and students (undergraduate and graduate) in the Department of Art. Candidates must possess at least a Master of Fine Arts Degree in an Art discipline or its equivalent.

The Secretary II of Clinical Experiences is responsible for reception duties and personal contacts with customers (students) or general public in furnishing routine information about the School of Education and the Office of Clinical Experiences. In addition to performing clerical work of greater difficulty, this position includes processing and maintaining relatively complex office records and reports (digital and print) involving student clinical experiences for the School.
Visiting Assistant Professor, Drama Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Visiting Assistant Professor of Drama, Performance and Directing at Jacksonville State University is a 9 month, non-tenure track position. This position is responsible for teaching undergraduate Acting and Directing courses and advanced courses such as movement, voice, or acting for the screen in coordination with other performance faculty; direct or mentor student directors for 1-2 productions per year.
Admissions Processor Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Admissions Processor is responsible for processing undergraduate student applications and required application documents. The Admissions Processor will also assist the processing team with preparing and disseminating application-related communication to students. This position works directly with the Lead, Admissions Processor and other processing staff to ensure applications are processed in a timely manner. This position reports to the Director, Undergraduate Admissions in the Office of Admissions.

The Controller, under the supervision of the VP/Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for the primary accounting/financial reporting for the University. The Controller directs, coordinates and oversees the institution’s various financial, accounting and treasury operations. Directs and oversees the operations of the Office of Student Accounts and the Disbursement’s Office to include payroll and accounts payable.
Assistant Professor, Geography Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Assistant Professor, in the School of Science, provides educational services in the Department of Geography to traditional and non-traditional students during the day or evening. The Assistant Professor may be required to teach Physical and Human Geography and GIScience courses on campus, off-campus, and online courses depending on need of the department and location.
