As part of a holistic strategic effort to support at-risk students, this position provides individualized student support programming efforts that centers around learning strategies and academic skills. The Learning Specialist functions to ensure assigned students understand assignments in their courses, help them to develop an organizational system that will facilitate success in their courses, assists students in areas where there are some cognitive deficiencies, and helps coordinate with assigned success coaches, SI leaders, tutors, academic advisors and other Student Success Center team members to guarantee at-risk first and second year students receive proper academic assistance.
Philanthropy Officer Jacksonville, AL (Main Campus)
Under general direction of the Associate Vice President for Philanthropy, the Philanthropy Officer will be responsible for securing major gifts ($15,000 - $1M+) for the university, and for managing a prospect/donor portfolio in various stages of identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.
HVAC II Jacksonville, AL (Main Campus)
The HVAC Mechanic II works at the journeyman level to perform service and maintenance on various refrigeration and air conditioning installations and equipment.  Tasks are completed according to established trade practices under the direction of a senior level HVAC mechanic or the HVAC supervisor, and is reviewed for compliance with instructions and adequate completion.  The HVAC Mechanic II works rotating shifts; special situations or emergencies may necessitate reporting on a scheduled off-day.
University Student Assistant - Campus Parking Enforcement Officer (Fall 2025-Spring 2026) Jacksonville, AL (Main Campus)
The University Student Assistant Campus Parking Enforcement Officer is responsible for the enforcement of University Parking Rules and Regulations. Duties may include the issuing of parking citations to vehicles in violation of University Parking Rules and Regulations, unlocking of car doors, assisting motorist upon request, use of parking enforcement devices, police radio use, body cameras, and educating student and visitors to campus of the University Parking Rules and Regulations.
