Job Summary:

The Admissions Processor is responsible for processing undergraduate student applications and required application documents. This position evaluates the validity of all required application documents and requires independent decision-making skills and efficient processing. The Admissions Processor will assist the processing team with preparing and disseminating application-related communication to students and responding to application inquiries, as needed. This position works directly with the Lead Admissions Processor and other processing staff to ensure applications are processed in a timely manner. This position reports to the Director of Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and processes undergraduate admissions applications and required application documents through the customer relationship management (CRM) system and student information (SI) system 
  • Assists the Undergraduate Admissions team by providing high-quality customer service to office visitors/callers and communicates with applicants regarding application requirements as needed 
  • Maintains a secure and organized filing system and adheres to the processing timeline, workflow, and specifications for documents and processed student data.  
  • Uploads relevant application documentation for each student into the student’s Web Xtender file 
  • Processes data requests and reports as directed from the Director, Undergraduate Admissions and Lead Admissions Processor.  
  • Assists with preparing and disseminating application-related communications and responding to inquiries requiring application status and materials, while providing high-quality customer service.  
  • Ensures the confidentiality and accurate data entry of all information processed and consults with the Lead Admissions Processor to confirm validity of application materials.  
  • Provides support to undergraduate recruitment efforts by assisting with preparation of decision letters, packets, etc. to undergraduate applicants. 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.  

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalence, and
  • Two (2) year full time equivalent experience in clerical or administrative support
