The University Student Assistant will play a vital role in the Military Science Department at Jacksonville State University. Students will learn invaluable leadership and critical thinking skills while helping others. The duties of the University Student Assistant are to obtain work experience on campus in offices, labs, gym, the library, and other areas. Duties may include assisting staff and faculty with preparation for research, classroom instruction, departmental operational needs, or performing administrative and other support duties as required. University Student Assistant - Mail Center (Spring 2026) Jacksonville, AL (Main Campus)
The duties of the University Student Aid in the Mail Center are to provide excellent customer service to all visitors, follow established record keeping, deliver mail to surrounding campus buildings on foot, enter student mail into the WTS computer system and into the parcel lockers, make ID Cards, clean and maintain both the mail and ID office, open and closing procedures, and additional duties as required by the department.
