| The Research & Outreach Student Assistant will support the Applied Engineering Department’s student recruitment, outreach, and engagement initiatives, while also participating in hands-on research and applied projects through the Center for Manufacturing Support (CMS).
This position blends student-facing engagement, campus and community outreach, and introductory research exposure in advanced manufacturing, robotics, and applied engineering. Student assistants will help engage middle school and high school students, parents, educators, industry partners, and campus visitors during outreach events, career fairs, preview days, and guided campus visits.
Technical guidance, training, and content support will be provided by CMS staff and Applied Engineering faculty. |

Graduate Teaching Assistant - Geography (Fall 2026 - Spring 2027)

| The duties of the Graduate Teaching Assistant, under the supervision of the faculty and/or staff, may include assisting faculty with various lab related tasks, performing classroom instruction, as well as other academic support duties, and departmental operational needs, and other associated and clerical duties as assigned. Teaching schedule will vary dependent upon lab schedule, lab prep, in class lab time, and post lab work.
The position requires the graduate student to teach labs in Physical Geography I, Physical Geography II, Physical Geology, and Historical Geology. The TA will teach three labs each semester and spend approximately twenty hours grading and prepping for future labs. Individuals applying for this position must be well organized and be able to work independently. The TA will interact with undergraduate students and provide office hours to assist them with their lab work. Applications will be evaluated on relevant experience.
Positions will be filled based on individual applicant’s skills, qualification, and departmental needs.

| The University Student Assistant/ Art Model position will allow you to obtain work experience in the Figure Drawing/ Painting classes as a model. The University Student Assistant/ Art Model is responsible for modeling a variety of poses sustained over varying periods of time. This position requires you to be able to maintain a professional attitude and appearance, while being patient and discreet. Duties for the art model include but are not limited to, sitting, and standing in a pose for a period of time so that students can draw you. Additional duties may be required by the department as needed.
Positions may be filled based on individual applicants’ skills, qualifications, and departmental needs.
