Senior Graphic Designer Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Senior Graphic Designer creates the overall appearance of a wide range of communications products through the use of graphics, typography, content strategy, visual design, and animation to effectively deliver products to the targeted end user. They collaborate with other designers and delegate work amongst a team of designers. The Senior Graphic Designer develops the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines and reports. The goal of the work of the Senior Graphic Designer is to create meaningful engagement between the university, the programs offered, and internal and external audiences through various mediums. Financial Aid Counselor Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Financial Aid Counselor provides quality customer service to prospective, and continuing students regarding financial aid eligibility, analyze federal financial aid applications to determine a student's financial need, prepare and award financial aid packages, and perform all duties related to the financial aid process. Counselors must interact in a professional manner with students and parents in challenging situations to help them resolve financial issues relating to financial aid eligibility and monetary awards.
Federal Work Study - Child Development Center (Fall 2023 - Spring 2024) Jacksonville (CEPS Complex)
The duties of the Federal Work Study Student Worker are to obtain work experience on campus in the JSU Child Development Center. Duties may include assisting staff and faculty with preparation for classroom instruction, departmental operational needs, or performing administrative and other support duties as required. The Student Worker will assist with creating and developing lesson material, games, and manipulatives for the classes. In addition, the Student Worker will work with individual and small groups of children to develop their emerging pre-reading and pre-math skills, self-help skills and social skills. Positions may be filled based on individual applicants’ skills, qualification, and departmental needs. Work hours will take place between 7:15 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. based upon availability of the Student Worker.

Federal Work Study - America Reads (Fall 2023 - Spring 2024) Multiple positions Jacksonville (CEPS Complex)
The duties of the Federal Student Worker are to obtain work experience on campus, in local P-12 schools, and via online virtual platforms. Duties may include assisting staff and faculty with preparation for Prek-6th grade reading activities, tutoring local PreK-6th grade students in the area of reading instruction, and other support duties as required. The Federal Student Worker will assist with creating and developing lesson material, games, and manipulatives for tutoring sessions. In addition, the Federal Student Worker will work with individuals and small groups of Prek-6th graders to assist in increasing student achievement in reading. Positions may be filled based on individual applicants’ skills, qualifications, and departmental needs. Tutors will attend mandatory training sessions and required workshops, be flexible and available to work outside of their class schedules, must be dependable and punctual for scheduled appointments, complete tutorial reports in a timely manner, and work well with Pre-k-6th grade students in the area of reading instruction. Additionally, tutors must be willing to work with a diverse student population.

Cybersecurity Analyst Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Cybersecurity Analyst performs a variety of activities in the monitoring, assessment, response, and recovery from cybersecurity risks. This role responds to cybersecurity events and incidents and escalates as needed. Leads the monitoring, identification, response, and remediation of the information systems infrastructure. Responsibilities include monitoring security event logs and data; acting as a resource to the organization for security related configurations and architecture discussions; and the deployment and configuration of cybersecurity applications. HVAC II Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The HVAC Mechanic II works at the journeyman level to perform service and maintenance on various refrigeration and air conditioning installations and equipment. Tasks are completed according to established trade practices under the direction of a senior level HVAC mechanic or the HVAC supervisor, and is reviewed for compliance with instructions and adequate completion. The HVAC Mechanic II works rotating shifts; special situations or emergencies may necessitate reporting on a scheduled off-day.
