University Student Assistant - Campus Parking Enforcement Officer (Summer - Fall 2024) Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The University Student Assistant Campus Parking Enforcement Officer is responsible for the enforcement of University Parking Rules and Regulations. Duties may include the issuing of parking citations to vehicles in violation of University Parking Rules and Regulations, unlocking of car doors and assist motorist upon request, and educating student and visitors to campus of the University Parking Rules and Regulations. Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions, may be assigned to day or evening shifts, serves as a liaison between the public and University departments, assist University Police Officers upon request, and maintains parking enforcement hardware and two-way radio. Graduate Academic Services Assistant - Office of Campus Visits (Summer 2024 - Spring 2025) Jacksonville (Main Campus)
Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Campus Visits, the graduate intern is responsible for assisting with campus experience programming including, but not limited to: Campus Tours (individual, group, special event), Preview Days, Emerging Leaders Day, other admissions events, ambassador programming/training/leadership development, and event marketing. The graduate intern will also support daily activities within the Office of Campus Visits. Federal Work Study - Anthropology (Fall 2024 - Spring 2025) Jacksonville (Main Campus)
Anthropology holds a large number of site reports, photographs, data, and artifacts from more than 40 years of fieldwork by JSU archaeologists. The duties of the Anthropology Federal Work Study Student will assist faculty in digitizing and cataloging these collections so that we can preserve the legacy of this heritage for future Alabamians. Director, Community Standards and Title IX Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Director of Community Standards and Title IX has responsibility for overseeing and managing JSU student conduct system, facilitates student community outreach, educational programming and training. The Director ensures that the student conduct system adjudicates all non-academic student conduct, and that student misconduct is supported by a philosophy of educating and supporting students while ensuring safety, security, and upholding the highest standards and expectations for ethical and responsible conduct.
Assistant Director, Community Standards Jacksonville (Main Campus)
Reporting to the Director of the Office of Community Standards and Title IX, the Assistant Director assists in the daily operation and functioning of the office. Adjunct Faculty - Geography (Fall 2024 - Spring 2025) Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Department of Chemistry and Geosciences is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach courses in the areas of World Regional Geography, Human Geography, and Physical Geography at the undergraduate level. These courses are offered in-person, hybrid, and online, with experience in all three instruction methods preferred. This position is for one year, providing temporary course replacement for a faculty member with course releases, with 2 courses in Fall and 4 courses in Spring.
Administrative Assistant, Communication Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Administrative Assistant performs clerical and secretarial work, processes and maintains relatively complex office records, reports, and materials of greater difficulty and with more independence, but within guidelines established by precedents and departmental policies. Associate Vice Provost, Curriculum & Academic Partnerships and Director of Dual Enrollment Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Associate Vice Provost assists the Provost and Vice Provost in achieving the university’s central academic mission while overseeing the following divisional activities: (a) curriculum changes, (b) development and maintenance of MOUs for academic partnerships, (b) Registrar’s office, and (c) Dual Enrollment and J-STEAM. The Associate Vice Provost also serves on the Provost’s Council and Core Team and chairs the undergraduate curriculum committee.
Associate Director, Athletics - Media Relations Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Associate Athletic Director, Media Relations is the primary media liaison for JSU Athletics, directing all sports information and media relations services for every University athletic team. Prepares Game Day statistics, historical records, press conferences, etc. Oversees the day-to-day operation of sports information/media relations and broadcasting of intercollegiate athletics. Generates print, television, radio and electronic sports media to local, regional, and national outlets.  Oversees media relations and broadcasting staff members.
Auxiliary Teacher (Infant - 3 Years Old) Jacksonville (CEPS Complex)

Reporting to the Director of Alumni Engagement, the Content Creator will be responsible for developing high-quality copy for newsletters, websites, social media, marketing materials, and other platforms. The Content Creator will understand the successes and challenges of content from our market competitors and will share their learnings with coworkers and stakeholders to consistently deliver excellence. The Content Creator will maximize consumer engagement with marketing content, share insights on competitor institution marketing content, encourage collaboration across campus to unify marketing output, working collaboratively with the marketing team to improve the university’s search engine optimization (SEO) presence and widen the alumni engagement marketing reach.

Department Head - Professional Counseling and Leadership Jacksonville (CEPS Complex)
The Department Head for Professional Counseling and Leadership is the educational and administrative head of the Department and shall report directly to the Dean of the College of Education and Professional Studies, who is responsible to the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs for the successful management of the Department. The Department Head is responsible for supporting and advancing the allied missions of the department, college, academic and other programs, and for enforcing University and Departmental policies and procedures. Coordinator, Graduate School Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Coordinator for the Graduate School will serve as a point of contact for potential students, enrolled graduate students, university faculty and staff regarding graduate admissions and enrollment for Jacksonville State University. This position will serve as the primary recruiter for the Graduate School for all graduate-level academic programs and will collaborate with university departments to develop, implement, and evaluate for effectiveness all implemented graduate recruitment events. This position will work closely with the Graduate Enrollment Specialists to generate timely reports regarding admissions and retention trends. The Coordinator will engage with graduate students admitted to a JSU graduate program regarding resources, registration, payment deadlines, and so forth. This position will also work closely with the Dean of the Graduate School regarding retention protocols and communication strategies for continued graduate student engagement.
