Jacksonville State University is seeking applicants for a tenure-track position in Visual Communication/Graphic Design at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The selected candidate will be expected to teach a 3/3 load at all levels of visual communication design from undergraduate to graduate, fully engage in departmental duties, committee work, campus activities, and scholarship. The David L. Walters Department of Music at Jacksonville State University (Jax State) invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Percussion for the Fall 2025 semester. Primary duties include teaching undergraduate and graduate applied percussion, percussion studio, percussion ensemble, and class percussion. The Department of Criminal Justice & Forensic Investigation invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice & Forensic Investigation. Career Technical Education and Professional Studies – CCAMPIS GRANT PROGRAM CO-COORDINATOR Jacksonville, AL (CEPS Complex)
The Child Care Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) Program Co-Coordinator is responsible for reviewing applications for enrollment in the CCAMPIS program, confirming eligibility with the Office of Financial Aid, hiring staff for the CCAPMIS classrooms, placing orders for materials, furnishings, and supplies, collecting and managing data essential to the CCAMPIS Grant, managing day to day operations of the CCAMPIS program including early and late care options for eligible families. The CCAMPIS Program Co-Coordinator will work with the Co-Coordinator, external reviewer, the Child Development Center Director, Assistant Director, and Administrative Assistant, JSU student parents, and other departments and offices across the JSU campus. In addition to performing clerical work of greater difficulty, this position includes processing and maintaining relatively complex office records and reports (digital and print) involving the CCAMPIS Program. This is a four-year, grant-funded position, which is renewable pending the continuation of funds.
Custodial Maintenance III (Alternate Shift) Jacksonville, AL (Main Campus)
Custodial Maintenance III in Building Services performs housekeeping duties on the interior and exterior of buildings in addition to carrying or moving heavy equipment or supplies to different areas or buildings on campus. May use pesticides under close supervision and following special instructions on their use and safety. Complex duties may be assigned and a greater degree of independent judgment allowed. Instructions are received orally from supervisor. The Custodial Maintenance III may function as the lead worker with a small group of Custodial Maintenance I employees and Housekeepers.
