Head Coach, Football
Jacksonville State University invites applications for its Head Football Coach position. This position offers the opportunity to lead the football program at Jacksonville State University, a SACS accredited institution, and the newest member of Conference USA for the Fall of 2023 after recently announcing a move to FBS.
The Head Football Coach at Jacksonville State University will be expected to represent the football program in a professional manner and will be primarily responsible for recruiting, training, and coaching members of the football program. The Head Football Coach’s oversight will also include coordinating the marketing of the football program and generating additional funds for support of the program. The Head Football Coach will also work with the Athletic Director to formulate a budget for the football program and schedule future games.
A bachelor’s degree is required and a master’s degree is considered an advantage. The successful candidate will have demonstrated significant time and experience working within the Division I Football Bowl Subdivision, have proven/winning record as a coach, and strong interpersonal and administrative skills. The Head Football Coach must be committed to the academic and athletic achievements of student-athletes.
