Vice Provost, Academic Affairs
Jacksonville State University (JSU) is seeking to hire a Vice Provost for the division of Academic Affairs.
The Vice Provost for Academic Affairs (VPAA) works directly with the provost in achieving the University’s central academic mission and is an active participant in the administrative decision-making processes in the Division of Academic Affairs. The VPAA provides strong and creative leadership to assist the provost in ensuring the division is achieving its goals. The VPAA is responsible for overseeing assigned units and for engaging in strategic planning, budget planning, and evaluation of goals for assigned units.

Candidates must possess an earned Doctorate and achieved the rank of Professor from a regionally accredited institution. The candidate must possess three (3) years of experience in academic administration, with demonstrated leadership within academic affairs. This position has an anticipated start date of February 1, 2023, and will remain open until filled.
