Department Information

The Department of Finance, Economics, and Accounting within the College of Business & Industry consists of faculty who provide instruction, research, and service in their respective disciplines of finance, economics, accounting, statistics, real estate, and business law. We offer the Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with majors in finance, economics, and accounting. The Department also offers a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in economics.

Job Summary

Adjunct instructors are needed to teach the introductory level statistics courses required for all business majors. (ST 260 and ST 261). Experience teaching in-person or online is desired. A minimum of 18 graduate hours in business statistics/quantitative methods is desired.

Required Qualifications 

  • Master’s degree appropriate for the discipline, or training and experience in the field to be qualified to teach specific courses. 
  • Experience with in-person, hybrid, or online instruction desired 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Candidates who hold current relevant professional credentials. 
  • College or University teaching experience. 
  • Teaching and/or conducting action research either at K-12 or higher education levels 
  • Evidence of teaching excellence. 
  • Teaching experience. 
  • Experience working with culturally diverse populations.
