Associate Director, Athletics - Media Relations Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Associate Athletic Director, Media Relations is the primary media liaison for JSU Athletics, directing all sports information and media relations services for every University athletic team. Prepares Game Day statistics, historical records, press conferences, etc. Oversees the day-to-day operation of sports information/media relations and broadcasting of intercollegiate athletics. Generates print, television, radio and electronic sports media to local, regional, and national outlets.  Oversees media relations and broadcasting staff members.
Auxiliary Teacher (Infant - 3 Years Old) Jacksonville (CEPS Complex)
The auxiliary teacher will assist with implementing a model infant to three years old program for a group of children and provide support to lead teacher with the following: planning and implementing appropriate activities for children, working with faculty and administration, working with families of young children, and modeling evidence-based practices in the classroom for early educator observers, graduate, and undergraduate students.

Alumni Engagement Content Creator (Part-time) Jacksonville (Main Campus)
Reporting to the Director of Alumni Engagement, the Content Creator will be responsible for developing high-quality copy for newsletters, websites, social media, marketing materials, and other platforms. The Content Creator will understand the successes and challenges of content from our market competitors and will share their learnings with coworkers and stakeholders to consistently deliver excellence. The Content Creator will maximize consumer engagement with marketing content, share insights on competitor institution marketing content, encourage collaboration across campus to unify marketing output, working collaboratively with the marketing team to improve the university’s search engine optimization (SEO) presence and widen the alumni engagement marketing reach.
Systems Administrator Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The System Administrator is the lead in systems administration, installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware and software in a diverse multi-platform server environment.  Understands complex relationships between components of the overall systems architecture. Has vast knowledge of operating system internals, file system structures and machine architectures, working experience with Linux and Windows system administrator tools, Linux shell scripts and powershell scripting. Exercises considerable independent judgment in carrying out the work and is responsible for achieving objectives.
Graduate Teaching Assistant - Biology Department (Fall 2024 - Spring 2025) Jacksonville (Main Campus)

Academic Advisor I or II Jacksonville (Main Campus)
As part of a strategic effort to support undergraduate students, this position will have a holistic role primarily of academic advising with collaboration to support career development and student success. As a primary role academic advisor, this position assists students with course registration, academic strategies, and major and minor selection. To support career development, this position incorporates career exploration and development within the academic advising process, connects students to resources for internships and co-ops, and assists students with developing post-graduation plans, including career and further education. In support of student success, this position assists high support students with resources to identify learning style preferences and troubleshoot academic problems. This position also monitors academic progress and standing, connects students with resources on campus and in the community, advises on university policies and procedures, provides scaffolding opportunities for students to develop self-motivation and self-regulation, and ensures persistence and retention. This position works within a collaborative College Advisement Team that includes career development, the employees in this position report to the Senior Advisor for the college in which assigned.
Admissions Counselor Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Admissions Counselor is responsible for the execution of the established recruitment plan in assigned geographic territories, which includes extensive travel for recruiting and evaluating applicants for admission to Jacksonville State University. Advises and counsels prospective students about the college selection process and the benefits of a JSU education. Continuously representing the University in a positive professional manner.
Federal Work Study - Learning Resource Center (Summer 2024) Jacksonville (CEPS Complex)
The duties of the Federal Student Worker are to obtain work experience on campus, in local P-12 schools, and via online virtual platforms. Duties may include assisting staff and faculty with preparation for Prek-6th grade reading activities, tutoring local PreK-6th grade students in the area of reading instruction, and other support duties as required. The Federal Student Worker will assist with creating and developing lesson material, games, and manipulatives for tutoring sessions. In addition, the Federal Student Worker will work with individuals and small groups of Prek-6th graders to assist in increasing student achievement in reading. Tutors will attend mandatory training sessions and required workshops, be flexible and available to work outside of their class schedules, must be dependable and punctual for scheduled appointments, complete tutorial reports in a timely manner, and work well with Pre-k-6th grade students in the area of reading instruction. Additionally, tutors must be willing to work with a diverse student population. Department Head - Professional Counseling and Leadership Jacksonville (CEPS Complex)
The Department Head for Professional Counseling and Leadership is the educational and administrative head of the Department and shall report directly to the Dean of the College of Education and Professional Studies, who is responsible to the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs for the successful management of the Department. The Department Head is responsible for supporting and advancing the allied missions of the department, college, academic and other programs, and for enforcing University and Departmental policies and procedures. Coordinator, Graduate School Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Coordinator for the Graduate School will serve as a point of contact for potential students, enrolled graduate students, university faculty and staff regarding graduate admissions and enrollment for Jacksonville State University. This position will serve as the primary recruiter for the Graduate School for all graduate-level academic programs and will collaborate with university departments to develop, implement, and evaluate for effectiveness all implemented graduate recruitment events. This position will work closely with the Graduate Enrollment Specialists to generate timely reports regarding admissions and retention trends. The Coordinator will engage with graduate students admitted to a JSU graduate program regarding resources, registration, payment deadlines, and so forth. Groundskeeper/Laborer Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Groundskeeper Laborer performs lawn and grounds work of an unskilled nature that will vary with the season. Responsibilities involve physical labor that is conducted mostly out of doors in all weather conditions. Tasks may occasionally include those on a semi-skilled level. Duties will be assigned in detail by an immediate supervisor and are subject to frequent inspection.
