Jacksonville State University’s College of Business and Industry invites applications for a tenure track position for a Professor of Management.

The Lyons & Company, Inc. Department of Management and Marketing seeks a Professor of Human Resource Management at the Assistant or Associate level. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality instruction to diverse student populations in both undergraduate and graduate programs. Teaching responsibilities include a primary focus on Human Resource Management and General Management courses, with opportunities to teach in Entrepreneurship or Project Management areas. Instructions will be delivered through multiple formats, primarily in-person during daytime hours, with evening sections as needed, and through both on-campus and online course delivery.

This nine-month, tenure track position has an anticipated start date of August 1, 2025.

Candidates must possess:

  • PhD or ABD in Human Resource Management or related field or DBA
  • Applicable industrial experience in a relevant field

The preferred candidate will possess:

  • PhD in Human Resource Management 
  • Evidence of experience teaching at the undergraduate level
  • Experience in academic accreditation process,
  • Experience in supervising student organizations.
  • Applied research in a relevant field.
