    University Student Assistant - Multimedia Assistant (Spring 2026 - Fall 2026) in Jacksonville, AL (Main Campus)

    The Multimedia Assistant will work as an integral member of the Department of Housing Operations and Residence Life’s Marketing Team to help in reaching our residents/prospective residents through graphic design and marketing materials. This role relies heavily on the ability to create original designs and requires strong visual and written communication skills. The Multimedia Assistant will contribute to various projects/campaigns throughout the academic year and will be responsible for the following: • Designing graphics for Print and Web. • Produce creative content for social media such as Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. • Keep content of flyers and documents up to date. • Maintain University digital board content. • Work in coordination with the JSU Print Shop, prepare files in a print-ready format. • Work university events such as Preview Day, Accepted Students Day, and Summer Orientation sessions. • Perform other duties as assigned.

    University Student Assistant - (ARLC) Assistant Residence Life Coordinator (Spring 2026 - Fall 2026) in Jacksonville, AL (Main Campus)

The responsibilities of this position includes assisting the direct supervisor in community development initiatives, encouraging a positive living environment for residents, special projects, assisting with events such as but not limited to preview day, reporting and filing, move-in, on-call responsibilities, training, the food pantry, supervision of students, residence life activities, programs, and special task. Positions may be filled based on individual applicants’ skills, qualifications, and departmental needs. Adheres to all department and University policies and procedures.

    Federal Work Study - Child Development Center (Spring 2026 - Summer 2026) in Jacksonville, AL (CEPS Complex)

    The duties of the JSU Child Development Center (CDC) Federal Work Study Student Worker are to obtain work experience on campus in the CDC. Duties may include assisting staff and faculty with preparation for classroom instruction, departmental operational needs, or performing administrative and other support duties as required. The Student Worker will assist with creating and developing lesson material, games, and manipulatives for the preschool class. In addition, the Student Worker will work with individual and small groups of children to develop their emerging pre-reading and pre-math skills, self-help skills and social skills. Positions may be filled based on individual applicants’ skills, qualifications, and departmental needs. **Must be eligible for Federal Work Study.
