Circulation Assistant in Jacksonville, AL (Main Campus)
Under the supervision of the Library User Services Supervisor, the Circulation Assistant provides patron/customer services work of a clerical and technical nature providing assistance in using the resources of the library. This position has extensive contact with the patrons, faculty and staff and works with a variety of library automated systems. Circulation Assistants work with some independence. Problems, exceptions or new procedures will be explained and/or handled in cooperation with supervisor.

The Carpenter II position consists of carpentry work at the journeyman level in the construction, alternation, and repair of wooden structures and equipment. Carpenter IIs perform skilled hand and bench carpentry duties including the operation of woodworking machinery. Work assignments are received in oral or written form and may consist of sketches or plans. Supervision may be exercised over one or two unskilled workers and work is checked by supervisor while in progress for compliance to instructions.
