A Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) assists a faculty member or members with academic research that may involve data collection and analysis, field experiments, computer programming, preparation of reports or presentations, or other comparable duties. Stipend: $12.00 per hour with a max of 20 hours per week for a total of 16 weeks. Student compensation is based on the number of hours worked, and students must clock in and clock out for each shift. Biweekly payroll over the course of the term.

The Learning Specialist functions to ensure assigned students understand assignments in their courses, help them to develop an organizational system that will facilitate success in their courses, assists students in areas where there are some cognitive deficiencies, and helps coordinate with assigned academic counselors, tutors, and other Student Athlete Academic Support Team members to guarantee at-risk student athletes receive proper academic assistance.

This position generates a variety of contracts; manages student workers; schedules appointments and meetings; and assists in the ticket office when needed, and also provides support in maintaining finance and accounting transactions relative to the Athletic Department’s annual budget.
