Coordinator, Enrollment Management Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Coordinator of Enrollment Management serves as a liaison for the Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management across campus and provides support for recruitment, enrollment, and yield initiatives. The position consists of administrative duties such as meeting minutes, budget and purchasing responsibilities, and general office administration. The Coordinator will also assist the AVPEM with data reports from CRM, Administrative Banner, Banner Finance, and other technical systems as needed. Quality customer service will also be a focus of this position, as the Coordinator will directly supervise the Angle Hall Greeters to ensure a friendly and welcoming environment for visitors to campus. The Coordinator of Enrollment Management will also correspond with students, families, faculty, and staff through a variety of methods (email, phone calls, etc.) on behalf of the AVPEM.
Financial Aid Services Specialist Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Financial Aid Services Specialist assists in administering (reviewing, processing, and maintaining) current and potential student applications and records for participation in the University’s loans and Federally awarded financial aid program.

As part of a holistic strategic effort to support at-risk student athletes, this position provides individualized student support programming efforts that centers around learning strategies and academic skills. The Lead Learning Specialist functions to ensure assigned students understand assignments in their courses, help them to develop an organizational system that will facilitate success in their courses, assists students in areas where there are some cognitive deficiencies, and helps coordinate with assigned academic counselors, tutors, and other Student Athlete Academic Support Team members to guarantee at-risk student athletes receive proper academic assistance.
Circulation Assistant Jacksonville (Main Campus)
Under the supervision of the Library User Services Supervisor, the Circulation Assistant provides patron/customer services work of a clerical and technical nature providing assistance in using the resources of the library. This position has extensive contact with the patrons, faculty and staff and works with a variety of library automated systems. Circulation Assistants work with some independence. Problems, exceptions or new procedures will be explained and/or handled in cooperation with supervisor.
Admissions Processor Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Admissions Processor is responsible for processing undergraduate student applications and required application documents. The Admissions Processor will also assist the processing team with preparing and disseminating application-related communication to students. This position works directly with the Lead, Admissions Processor and other processing staff to ensure applications are processed in a timely manner. The AMSTI Site Director is a 12 month employee of Jacksonville State University, with compensation defined by the Salary Matrix for AMSTI Directors. The Accountant, Sponsored Programs is responsible for performing routine accounting and budget reconciliations, and maintenance of General Ledger accounts and business transactions of the organization. Responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Grants accounting function and is responsible for processing all post grant awards. Responsible for timely completion of required quarterly and yearly financial reporting. Must maintain a working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Uniform Guidance.
Counselor (CDCS) Jacksonville (Main Campus)
Under the general direction of the Director of Counseling Services, the Counselor provides and coordinates direct services to students in the area of mental health support and referrals. Works closely with other departments in Student Affairs and partners with faculty, staff, and community agencies to ensure the provision of adequate mental health services to support student development, academic achievement, and student success.
Police Officer Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Police Officer is responsible for the protection of life and property through the enforcement of laws and regulations of the university by performing police and patrol work in accordance with federal, state, county, municipal laws and university regulations. Work may involve personal danger and the use of independent judgment in responding to emergencies. This position may be assigned to day or evening shifts and may be called to work odd hours for special events or activities on campus. Work is frequently performed out of doors in all weather conditions. Work is performed under general supervision of the Police Sergeant and in accordance with established routine and is checked by superior officers through personal inspections, review of reports, and discussion with employees.
