Adjunct Faculty Position, Applied Engineering

The Applied Engineering Department within Jacksonville State University's College of Business and Industry is seeking an adjunct faculty member to instruct in-person courses in computer-aided design (2D) and advanced computer-aided design (3D).  

Department Information

A department within the College of Business and Industry, the Department of Applied Engineering offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Applied Electronics Engineering, Applied Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Leadership, and Occupational Safety and Health Management.

In addition, the Department of Applied Engineering offers a Master of Science degree in Manufacturing Systems Technology.

Our students are learning to apply engineering principles to make the world a better place. Required Qualifications

A master’s degree appropriate for the discipline or training and experience in the field to be qualified to teach specific courses.

A terminal degree may be required for teaching graduate or doctoral courses. “Terminal degree” refers to the highest degree awarded in a discipline. The doctorate is the terminal degree for most disciplines represented at JSU.

Preferred Qualifications

Doctoral degree in appropriate discipline.
