The Senior System Administrator is the lead in systems administration, installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware and software in a diverse multi-platform server environment. Understands complex relationships between components of the overall systems architecture. Has vast knowledge of operating system internals, file system structures and machine architectures, working experience with UNIX system administrator tools, UNIX shell scripts and scripting languages. Exercises considerable independent judgment in carrying out the work and is responsible for achieving objectives.
HVAC III Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Heating/Air Conditioning Mechanic III performs master level work in the maintenance and repair of refrigeration, heating, and allied equipment. The Mechanic III services and maintains various refrigeration and air conditioning installations and equipment according to established trade practices and under the direction of the HVAC Supervisor. Tasks are reviewed for compliance with instructions and adequate completion. The HVAC Mechanic III works rotating shifts; special situations or emergencies may necessitate reporting on a scheduled off-day.

Director, Disability Resources Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Director of Disability Resources is a key member of the Student Success Center leadership team responsible for creating usable, equitable and inclusive learning environments for students with disabilities by increasing the assimilation of universal design principles in campus facilities, instructional delivery, programs and activities. Additionally the Director , along with Disability Resources team members, promote academic access and educational opportunities for students with disabilities by ensuring compliance with federal mandates, ADA and Section 504, through the provision of reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities, and by delivering timely training, technical assistance and consultations with faculty, staff and administrators about issues, regulatory updates, cultural trends, research, and other matters related to disability. The Director is responsible for designing and managing the unit budget, directing and evaluating program activities, supervising exempt, non-exempt and student staff, and maintaining a caseload of students, as dictated by needs of the unit.
Specialist, Student Athlete Development Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Student Athlete Development Specialist provides comprehensive general mental health services to student athletes at Jacksonville State University in coordination with Counseling Services, the Student Athlete Development & Support Center and the Athletic Department. This includes mental health screenings and assessment, therapeutic interventions, case management, training and education. The Student Athlete Development Specialist provides strong advocacy skills and promotes lifetime wellness.
Adult Learner Success Coach Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Adult Learner Success Coach oversees student assistance relying on assessment and theory-based interventions while maintaining records and reporting ongoing progress. Additionally, the Adult Learner Success Coach is responsible for implementing strategies designed to increase student success and university retention rates, provides academic skills assessments, strengths development, encouragement, and assistance for a diverse population of enrolled and newly admitted adult students. This is a student success position that works under general and infrequent supervision and reports to the Director, Student Success Center and Director of Military & Post Traditional Student Services.
Graduate Teaching Assistant - Biology (Fall 2021) Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The duties of the Graduate Teaching Assistant, under the supervision of the faculty and/or staff, may include assisting faculty with various lab related tasks, performing classroom instruction, as well as other academic support duties, and departmental operational needs, and other associated and clerical duties as assigned. Teaching schedule will vary dependent upon lab schedule, lab prep, in class lab time, and post lab work.
