Assistant Professor of Printmaking Jacksonville (Main Campus)
Job Summary: The Department of Art at Jacksonville State University invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Printmaking (tenure track) to begin August 2020. The successful candidate will teach three undergraduate courses per semester in Printmaking and Foundations (Drawing and Design) and should have a strong background in Intaglio and Relief Printmaking with a demonstrated record of collaborations and exhibitions. Additionally, an active creative record and evidence of university service will be expected. The successful candidate will also be expected to interact and collaborate with the faculty members and students (undergraduate and graduate) in the Department of Art. The Assistant Professor in the Department of Art provides educational services to traditional and non-traditional students during the day or evening; teaches graduate- and undergraduate-level courses in Art along with graduate-level research and advanced data analysis; and may be required to teach courses within his/her concentration area on campus, off campus, online, and, possibly via videoconferencing depending on need of location.

The Instructor, Dept. of Communication, is responsible for facilitating students’ comprehension and application of concepts, skills, and behaviors that contribute to their development into mature, able and responsible members of society. This position exists to provide educational services to traditional and non-traditional students during the day and evening.
Assistant Professor, Graduate Nursing Jacksonville (South Campus)
The Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing provides educational opportunities/experiences to traditional and non-traditional students. Scholarly teaching is an expectation within doctorate and graduate level courses in Nursing along with doctoral level research (oversight and management of DNP Scholarly projected which may include advanced data analysis). The faculty member is required to teach courses within his/her concentration area on campus, off-campus, online courses and with possible videoconferencing depending on need. The faculty member is required to maintain a clinical practice with his/her specialty area. This position is a 12-month, hybrid position and requires extensive online engagement with students and often on campus visits for diverse university functions as mandated by the administrative team. The faculty member is expected to work collaboratively with the Director of Online and Graduate Nursing Programs to facilitate desired student outcomes.
Temporary Front Desk/Information Assistant Fort Payne (Little River Canyon Center)
The Front Desk/Information Assistant is responsible for operating the Canyon Center's visitor information desk including answering the phones, assisting visitors and vendors, and managing the HD program in the auditorium.
Coordinator, Technology Support Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Coordinator, Technology Support provides technical support, professional development, and technology training to JSU faculty, staff and students. This position will have a high level of proficiency in Microsoft and Apple operating system devices. This position is responsible for the functions of the Technology Support Center, to include Tier I technical support, management of the university's technology support ticket system, training and supervision of student assistants, and distribution and collection of university owned mobile devices to faculty/staff/students. The Coordinator, Technology Support works with other Directors in the Department of Information Technology to facilitate the assignment and completion of support ticket requests.
