Learning Systems Application Administrator Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Learning Systems Application Administrator serves as primary system administrator of the current LMS, Canvas, and assists with system administration of other enterprise software solutions provided by Online@JSU. This individual takes a leadership role in the learning systems design and customization process, and is responsible for maintenance, major modifications, and development of applications based on user requirements and needs identified by instructional design staff and the Director of Online@JSU. The Learning Systems Application Administrator assists with support and will be working closely with staff, administrators, and faculty to build custom solutions and integrations. Programming and scripting skills will be leveraged to originate ideas for advancement of functionality of various licensed or internally developed applications.
Secretary II, MCIS Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Secretary II performs administrative support to the MCIS department. This position creates and maintains records, reports, and materials within guidelines established by precedents and departmental policies. This position has routine, personal contact with customers and the general public, providing standard information and occasionally explaining methods, procedures, services and activities of unit.
Specialist, Graduate Admissions Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Graduate Admissions Specialist is responsible for the processing of graduate applications in the School of Arts & Humanities minus the Department of Music, School of Business & Industry, School of Health Professions & Wellness minus the Department of Kinesiology, School of Human Services & Social Sciences, and School of Science, verification of students’ academic history, program entry dates, and ensuring accurate recording of student information in the Banner System. This position serves as the initial point of contact for staff, faculty, students, and other constituencies; responds to routine inquiries; and disseminates information about the services offered by Graduate Studies. The Graduate Admissions Specialist attends graduate student recruiting fairs, tabling opportunities, and other recruiting/public relations events as needed, representing JSU Graduate Studies.
Professional Development Coordinator- AMSTI Anniston (McClellan Center)
Under the direct supervision of the AMSTI Site Director, the AMSTI Professional Development Coordinator provides administrative support to the AMSTI department by coordinating and facilitating day to day operations of the office’s administrative systems, policies, procedures, and related programs; initiates problem solving, and maintains a high level of tact and diplomacy while discreetly handling confidential and sensitive matters.
Instructor/Assistant/Associate Family and Consumer Science: Merchandising Concentration Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Faculty for Family and Consumer Science is responsible for instructional work to facilitate student comprehension and application of concepts, skills, and behaviors that contribute to the development of mature, able and responsible members of society. Assistant/Associate Professor, Graduate Nursing Jacksonville (South Complex)
The Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Nursing provides educational opportunities/experiences to traditional and non-traditional students. Scholarly teaching is an expectation within doctorate and graduate level courses in Nursing along with doctoral level research (oversight and management of DNP Scholarly projected which may include advanced data analysis). The faculty member is required to teach courses within his/her concentration area on campus, off-campus, online courses and with possible videoconferencing depending on need. The faculty member is required to maintain a clinical practice with his/her specialty area. This position is a 12-month, hybrid position and requires extensive online engagement with students and often on campus visits for diverse university functions as mandated by the administrative team. The faculty member is expected to work collaboratively with the Director of Online and Graduate Nursing Programs to facilitate desired student outcomes. The position has an anticipated start date of August 12, 2021.

The Resident Assistant (RA) is a vital student member of the Office of Residence Life staff.
