The auxiliary teacher will assist with implementing a model infant to three years old program for a group of children and provide support to lead teacher with the following: planning and implementing appropriate activities for children, working with faculty and administration, working with families of young children, and modeling evidence-based practices in the classroom for early educator observers, graduate, and undergraduate students.
Federal Work Study - Financial Aid Office Call Center (Fall 2024 - Spring 2025) Jacksonville (Main Campus)
In the Financial Aid Call Center, the Federal Work Study Student will be responsible for answering incoming calls directed to the Call Center with high-quality customer service. Education Program Associate Fort Payne (Little River Canyon Center), Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Education Program Associate is responsible for the development, implementation and administration of science-based environmental educational and conservation programs through the JSU Strategic Partnerships and Special Projects and Field Schools. All activities are through primary coordination with Director and Assistant Director as well as through additional coordination with partners including agencies, schools, groups and individuals. Incumbent will use independent judgment and discretion in program development and departmental administration. Work is periodically reviewed for adherence to department/division goals and effectiveness of results. Reports to the Assistant Director of JSU Field Schools.

The Front Desk/Information Assistant is responsible for operating the Canyon Center's visitor information desk including answering the phones, assisting visitors and vendors, and managing the HD program in the auditorium.

Assistant Professor - Computer Science or Computer Information Systems Jacksonville (Main Campus)

Lead Counselor, Victory Center Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Victory Center Lead Counselor will be serving as part of a multidisciplinary team at the Victory Center who serves as the bridge between clinical services and essential community resources. This individual provides consultative services to The Total Military Community within the Jax State15-County service area. This is a grant-funded position, which is renewable pending the continuation of funds annually.
Associate Director, Communications and Outreach Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Associate Director of Communications oversees the customer service experience for the Financial Aid Office. The position also assists in administering student applications and records for participation in the University’s loans and federal financial aid programs; works in close collaboration with other JSU Departments and Offices (e.g. Office of Student Accounts, Registrar, etc.) to assist students with the financial aid process. The position is responsible for outreach to students and families from the Financial Aid Office, which includes, but is not limited to, emails, text messages, presentations, website updates, etc.
HVAC III Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Heating/Air Conditioning Mechanic III performs master level work in the maintenance and repair of refrigeration, heating, and allied equipment. The Mechanic III services and maintains various refrigeration and air conditioning installations and equipment according to established trade practices and under the direction of the HVAC Supervisor. Tasks are reviewed for compliance with instructions and adequate completion. The HVAC Mechanic III works rotating shifts; special situations or emergencies may necessitate reporting on a scheduled off-day.

The HVAC Mechanic II works at the journeyman level to perform service and maintenance on various refrigeration and air conditioning installations and equipment. Supervisor, HVAC Jacksonville (Main Campus)
The Supervisor, HVAC is a leadership position that supervises employees performing heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) repair, replacement, and general maintenance on a variety of HVAC and water plant equipment. In coordination with crews, the Supervisor, HVAC plans, inspects, and assigns job schedules to restrict disruption of campus schedules and inconveniences.  May assist subordinates in the performance of certain tasks when needed.
University Student Assistant - Supplemental Instruction (Fall 2024 - Spring 2025) Jacksonville (Main Campus)
Supplemental Instruction (SI) is an academic support program that targets historically difficult courses. SI sessions are regularly scheduled, out-of-class review sessions for all students enrolled in a targeted course. The sessions are informal seminars in which students review notes, discuss readings, develop organizational tools, and prepare for examinations. Students learn how to integrate course content with reasoning and study skills. SI sessions are conducted by a student leader who has successfully completed the course, attends the course, and works with the professor to design collaborative learning sessions for the students to attend on a voluntary basis. SI leaders support classroom instruction in every way. Likewise, the SI program is offered only in classes where the faculty member understands and supports Supplemental Instruction. Science in Motion Specialist Anniston (McClellan Center)
The Science in Motion Specialist is responsible for conducting teacher education training in the teaching of secondary sciences (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) utilizing state-of-the-art procedures and laboratory equipment and to teach laboratory units to high school science units. Extensive travel to regional high schools is required.
Philanthropy Officer, Athletics (Football) Jacksonville (Main Campus)
Under the supervision of the Director for Athletics Philanthropy and the Jax State Athletic Foundation, the position of Athletics Philanthropy Officer is responsible for coordinating a comprehensive development program for the identification, cultivation and solicitation of major gifts to obtain operating, endowment, and capital funds for the Athletic Program, specifically focused on the football program; collaborates with the Athletic Director to help achieve overall development objectives for Athletics; at least 60% of the work schedule demands direct contact with qualified prospect or donor cultivation and solicitation.
