Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director of International House and Programs, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for coordinating budgets under the direction of the Director. Coordinates events and transportation throughout the year. Serves as the initial point of contact for staff, faculty, students, and other constituencies and responds to routine inquiries and disseminates information about the services of the International House & Programs office.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receives, screens and routes visitors, answers routine inquiries by phone or in person or refers to the appropriate person.
- Assists director in coordinating budgets and prepares detailed monthly reports.
- Manages transportation needs for international students in correlation with the airport shuttle company.
- Assists director in coordinating campus-wide cultural education events.
- Performs administrative office support as such sorts and distributes mail, maintains supply inventory, maintains files and arranges meetings, conferences and out of state and foreign travel.
- Prepares travel authorization and travel reimbursement for department staff - domestic and International.
- Assists director with International House Board of Trustees Annual Business Meeting, Annual Luncheon, and coordinates the Annual Awards Banquet.
- Submits request forms for reimbursements and deposits from International House Foundation Accounts.
- Supervises student workers.
- Completes student worker payroll.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, and
- Two (2) years of full-time equivalent experience in clerical or administrative support.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with departmental budgets
- Experience coordinating events
- Experience with Ellucian Banner
