Salary:

$15.00 per hour (max of 26 hours per week)

Job Summary:

The intern assists general counsel on research on legal issues and policy writing; file maintenance; clerical research at local courthouses; assist in fact investigation (as appropriate) on legal matters; data analysis and summary for document intensive projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Document processes, identifying risks and controls (or control gaps)
• Design audit testing programs
• Write audit reports highlighting findings and recommendations
• Assisting with policy development
• Executing audit testing
• Document testing results, findings and develop internal control improvement recommendations

Required Minimum Qualifications:

• Enrolled at Jacksonville State University

Preferred Qualifications:

• One of the following School of Business and Industry Majors: Accounting, Business Administration, Communication, Economics, Finance, Management, and Marketing
• Preferred candidate will be a rising Junior or Senior.
