Instructor, Finance

The Gregory D. Brown Department of Finance, Economics and Accounting invites applications for the position of Instructor of Finance. This is a full-time, non-tenure track position with a primary teaching focus. The teaching load is four courses per semester. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses both online and in person. Additional responsibilities include mentoring and service. The anticipated start date is January 4, 2027.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must possess a master's degree appropriate for the discipline, or training and experience in the field to be qualified to teach specific courses. Accomplishments sufficient to indicate the ability to meet the requirements of the rank of Instructional Practitioner at JSU in teaching and service are also required.

Applicants must submit a cover letter, resume or CV, teaching philosophy, and unofficial transcripts to be considered for the position.  Official transcripts will be required upon hire.
