The Benefits Assistant provides comprehensive support in the administration of the University’s employee benefits programs. Responsibilities include assisting with benefits enrollment, processing retirements and separations, and maintaining accurate, confidential records. This position serves as a primary point of contact for benefit-related inquiries, supports the preparation of internal and external reports, and contributes to the planning and execution of benefit-related events. The Benefits Assistant also assists with New Employee Orientation and ensures compliance with applicable University policies, as well as state and federal regulations.

Temporary Financial Aid Call Center Assistant in Jacksonville, AL (Main Campus)
The Call Center Assistant position will be responsible for making outbound calls to students regarding their financial aid status and other enrollment initiatives throughout the year. This position will assist in answering incoming calls directed to the Call Center with high-quality customer service, and will direct any other inquiries to the appropriate department across campus. The Call Center Assistant will be available to assist students and parents in completing the FAFSA in the student computer lab. This position will report to the Call Center Supervisor.

Assistant Director, Financial Aid Operations in Jacksonville, AL (Main Campus)
The Assistant Director of Financial Aid Operations will be responsible for the daily sending and receiving of data files, including ISIR files and ISIR correction files. This position will oversee federal student aid eligibility and will coordinate audits of student financial aid files regarding verification and other eligibility criteria. This position will be a liaison to Information Technology Services and will review and test all Banner upgrades/patches, with the approval and guidance of the Director of Financial Aid. This position will also supervise the Financial Aid Counselors whose responsibility includes student eligibility reviews.
