Up to $60,000.00, Commensurate with experience  

Normal Work Schedule:

8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday; Some evenings and weekends required

Essential Functions:


  • Provides assistance in addressing EEO/Affirmative Action (AA) issues including, but not limited to concerns or complaints of alleged unlawful discrimination or harassment based upon any federally protected category, including: race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age (people over 40), physical or mental disability, or any other applicable protected basis under appropriate laws.
  • Works with the CHR&DO to develop, coordinate, and facilitate relevant programs and training opportunities for faculty, staff, and students.
  • Serves as the University’s ADA Officer for faculty, staff, and students.
  • Maintains continuous monitoring of changes to federal, state, and local laws, and interprets university policies and procedures related to EEO/AA/ADA and provides consultation/ guidance to faculty, staff, students, and administrators.
  • Provides assistance in the development and implementation of bias-free University policies and procedures pertaining to equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, diversity, and the American’s with Disability Act (ADA), and which enable the University to maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, US Codes, etc.
  • Identifies areas of potential violations of EEO, Diversity, and ADA; works with the CHR&DO to determine and implement preventative actions, and recommends appropriate solutions for consideration.
  • Prepares and maintains reports and statistical data relative to the various areas of responsibilities and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and US Codes.
  • Works with the CHR&DO to develop and implement programs that promote a learning environment and culture of diversity and inclusiveness which ensures students, employees, and prospective employees are treated fairly and valued for their individuality.
  • Initiates and directs investigations to resolve complaints related to discrimination and harassment based upon protected basis to include race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, genetic information, gender identity, or any other applicable protected basis under appropriate law.
  • Works with the CHR&DO to ensure University compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and related legislation that affect employees with disabilities.
  • Investigates complaints of alleged discrimination based on an employee’s/applicant’s disability status.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in human resources, organizational management, or public administration, or in a field directly related to the major responsibilities of the position
  • At least three (3) years of full-time equivalent experience in EEO/ADA

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate from an American Bar Association accredited law school
  • Four (4) years of recent progressively responsible experience with organization-wide accountability
  • At least two (2) years’ experience at an institution of higher education
